Your medical waste transporter will first add you as a generator contact within the Octopus platform. This step is crucial because it grants you authorized access to your generator account and ensures your facility’s data remains secure and compliant.
Once this setup is complete, you’ll automatically receive an email invitation to join the Generator Portal.
Step 2: Check Your Email for the Login Link
After your transporter adds your contact information, you’ll receive an email from Octopus SaaS containing a secure login link.
This link directs you to the Generator Portal’s login page. Make sure to check your spam or promotions folder if you don’t see the email in your inbox.

Step 3: Enter Your Login Credentials
Click the login link and you’ll be taken to the Octopus Generator Portal.
Enter the email address and password shared by your transporter. These credentials serve as your temporary access details for the first login.
Step 4: Set Your New Password
For security purposes, the system will prompt you to create a new password upon first login.
Choose a strong password that meets the recommended security criteria, typically including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols-to ensure your account stays protected.
Once you’ve updated your password, the change will be saved for all future logins.

Step 5: Access Your Generator Portal
After resetting your password, you’ll automatically be logged in and redirected to your Generator Dashboard.
From here, you can access manifests, review billing records, monitor pickups, download reports, and manage compliance documentation-all within one centralized, easy-to-use interface.
You’re now ready to use the full functionality of the Generator Portal and take control of your facility’s waste management workflow.
